Description

OVERVIEW:

To help maintain cleanliness and order of Corps building and grounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure floors remain clear of all tripping and other hazards
• Maintain and ensure all floors are clean, swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed
• Maintain and ensure all restrooms are clean, swept, mopped, stocked, and sanitized
• Dust and sanitize all hard surfaces
• Clean interior windows; power wash exterior windows as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, disposing of trash/debris, some plant maintenance
• Empty trash receptacles, recycling and compost bins/clean receptacles as needed
• Ensure unused areas of the building are locked for safety and security
• Perform and document routine inspection
• Follow all health, safety regulations, and chemical storage and hygiene best practices
• Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• CA Driver’s License (preferred)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Team player

EQUIPMENT USED:

• Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
• Relevant janitorial and maintenance equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
