Floor Specialist and Janitor Job at CORG Management Group in Columbia

CORG Management Group is seeking a Part-Time Floor Specialist and Janitor in Fort Jackson, SC at a Military Facility.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning office area with different types of flooring - linoleum, tile, and carpet, waxing floors (must be very experienced in floors and carpet).
2. Shampooing rugs and carpets.
3. Cleaning stairwells.
4. Emptying trash cans.
5. Sweeping and dust mopping all hard surface floors and spot vacuuming carpets.
6. Disinfecting bathrooms and high touch areas.
7. Cleaning interior windows and mirrors.
8. Using equipment, including commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners, as well as walk-behind machines.
9. Collecting and taking out trash and recycling.

Requirements:

1. 2 to 3 years’ experience with maintenance of different flooring.
2. Must be able to bend, kneel, walk for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
3. Must be able to work a typical work week, M-F; 4pm-8pm, subject to change during summer.
4. May be required to work 1 or 2 weekends out of the year.

Salary: Hourly Rate, $21.77, includes regular rate $17.20 and Health and Welfare $4.57.
