Role Summary:

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the owner, ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day activities. This role requires a proactive, organized, and resourceful individual with a strong interest in fashion and retail, a working knowledge of Shopify, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Scheduling & Organization: Manage the owner’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments and travel plans.
  2. Event Support: Assist in planning and executing in-store and off-site events, including coordinating logistics and setup.
  3. E-Commerce: Maintain and update the online store, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and e-commerce merchandising using Shopify.
  4. Content Creation: Assist with social media planning and execution, including scheduling posts, attending photo shoots, and contributing creative ideas.
  5. Operations & Logistics: Oversee shipments, inventory management, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  6. Sample Management: Steam and prepare samples for photo shoots, client appointments, and displays.
  7. Errands: Perform occasional errands, such as sourcing materials or picking up/dropping off items as needed.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the boutique’s team to support overall business operations and initiatives.
  9. Learning & Growth: Stay informed on retail trends and embrace opportunities to expand your skills and responsibilities within the company.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in an administrative, retail, or fashion-related role.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify is required; experience with e-commerce platforms and social media tools is a plus.
  3. Interest in Fashion: A genuine enthusiasm for fashion and retail with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  4. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while maintaining accuracy.
  5. Flexibility: Willingness to handle a diverse range of tasks and adapt to the needs of the business.
  6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation for occasional errands.
