Position Summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for Adjunct Professors of American Sign Language (ASL) in the department of Communication. The candidate would be expected to teach 3-6 credits per semester.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills or Software: Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Required Years of Experience: 1 year

Required Degree, Licenses or Certifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Communication or a related field. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL). Familiarity with deaf culture. One year of experience in teaching or interpreting ASL.

Preferred Qualifications: RID certification.
