Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Architect to join our DOD client. Work will be performed on-site at Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- This position will require knowledge and experience with functional area expertise in National and DoD IT Policy.
- This position must have the ability to design architecture to include software, hardware, and communications as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- This position must demonstrate technical knowledge in cybersecurity architectures, information processing transport architectures, and cybersecurity policy.
- The position must provide guidance to ensure appropriate coordination with cybersecurity and architecture organizations to support the mission areas.
- This position will provide support to the Government in assisting coordination and collaboration with external organizations to ensure mission requirements are met.
- The position shall provide a written report of their technical assessment of meeting discussions and impacts to risk adjudication for new or existing systems.
- This position shall provide expertise in assisting the organization and projects to ensure they are meeting identified requirements and end states (examples: Bug Bounty, NSCAR, Internet Protocol Transport Provider Edge (IPT-PE) transport).
- This position must attend a bi-weekly meeting to brief leadership on assessments of systems, applications, and services, and identification of system functions and relationships that support the goals and objectives of the current and future Strategic.
- The position requires the ability to identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requirements, including hardware and software updates and upgrades, developing high-level system design diagrams.
- Ensuring these systems are compatible and in compliance with standards for open systems architecture, the Open System Interconnection (OSI), and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards, such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model, as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) Solutions of the application platform across the application program interface (API) and the external environment/software application.
- Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant.
- This position requires one to evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action.
- Planning efforts throughout the enterprise.
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.
Qualifications
Required:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field at minimum.
- This position requires at least 10 years of relevant experience with a Top Secret clearance and the ability to be SCI eligible.
- Certification requirements include having a DoD 8570 IAM/IAT level III.
