Summary

This position will be with the Warfighter Readiness Training contract. CAE USA, Link Simulation and Training has a requirement for a System Administrator to support company specific information technology needs. The candidate will be responsible for opening support tickets, ordering equipment, and troubleshooting various user issues, including issues relating to email, internet, and hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support 5 Programs for Cyber Security and Systems Administration Tasks
  • Handle Tasking from Multiple Different Departments and Document them
  • Work on RMF Packets within the Guidelines from NIST and Higher Organizations
  • Order equipment and provide cradle to grave support for users
  • Troubleshoot user, Networks, server and system issues
  • Needs to have a positive attitude and be able to multitask and be a self-starter
  • Have the Ability to administrate on Linux, windows and Unix based Systems
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline and 10+ years of Experience
  • Activate Comptia Security+ Certification

Skills and Experience:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Access
  • Experience problem solving and troubleshooting IT issues
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT.
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary.
  • Network Access Storage (NAS) and Local Area Network (LAN) experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2016 – 2019 and a variety of Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

  • CISSP is beneficial
  • Ability to lift 50lbs desired.

Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must Have Active DoD Personal Security Clearance minimum Secret.
