The Cybersecurity Operations Manager at Venture Global LNG is a senior-level leader responsible for overseeing the entire cybersecurity strategy, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of security protocols to protect critical data and infrastructure, managing a team of security professionals, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while staying updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a thorough practical and strategic understanding of complex information systems, cybersecurity concepts, threats, proactive defense principles, strategies, and market-leading solutions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards, including data privacy laws.
• Assess Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Incident Response (IR) Preparedness and assist in the preparation of BCP and IR Tabletop Exercises.
• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Define metrics to accurately convey risk, team performance, and measure against goals.
• Regularly communicate cybersecurity status updates to leadership and stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and threat intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, or management information systems.
• 10 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions at an energy facility or related industry.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, application security, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Skilled in vulnerability management, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity teams and projects.
• Expertise in relevant cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experienced in overseeing security operations, monitoring/reporting key performance indicators, and concentrating on process improvement.
