Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
We are now looking for talented, innovative individuals to join our team in Tyson’s Corner, VA (DC Metro area). Must be able to come into Nodal’s office (daily to start, hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office negotiable after the initial period).
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong interest in technology and a history of performance in a Cyber/Information Security related role, that includes familiarity with and/or experience in:
- Network security vulnerability assessment and testing.
- Physical security vulnerability assessment and testing.
- Assessing requests for additional personnel access.
- Seeking out new solutions to address security concerns.
- Assisting in the reviews of security-related systems and their configuration, e.g., DLP, Anti-Malware, System Configuration, etc.
- Reviewing and assessing related security intelligence.
- Performing security-related assessments and tracking findings.
- Sharing other duties that the team is responsible for as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 4+ years of experience in a technically oriented Cyber or related role.
- 4+ years of experience in a direct technical role.
- A wide breadth of knowledge about technology and security-related subject matter.
Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000-$250,000 per year base salary, when annualized
Pay Transparency Notice: The salary range is based on the D.C. metro area; the successful candidate’s starting salary will vary depending on permissible, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and experience.
