Cybersecurity Asset Manager - Fellowship

We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Asset Manager to join our team for a Skill bridge / Transitioning Service Member Opportunity.
Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is preferred.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accountability of all devices, scanning, patching, updating, and building machines, as well as the procurement and distribution of IT assets. You will also be responsible for managing the repair process for IT assets.
General Skillset
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and individually

- Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
- Maintain accountability of all devices within the organization.
- Perform regular scanning, patching, and updating of machines to ensure security and optimal performance.
- Build and configure new machines according to organizational requirements.
- Procure and distribute IT assets to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinate the repair process for IT assets, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of IT assets.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CompTIA Security +.
- CompTIA Network + OR Cisco Certified Network Associate is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in asset management and cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of scanning, patching, and updating procedures.
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes.
- Proficiency in building and configuring machines.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
