POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Services Representative based in the Atlanta, GA market. This individual is responsible for effectively promoting dormakaba’s entire North American portfolio of products, solutions, and services to architectural firms, design-build firms, and government architects.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $83,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Plus a generous Sales Incentive Compensation. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships that reflect the best interests of the architects’ clients.
- Ensure that the architectural firm’s library is fully up to date with dormakaba’s literature, technical documents, and relevant samples.
- Network within architectural firms to capture the following of additional Project Architects.
- Develop key relationships with firms’ lead specification managers.
- Ensure completed specifications are being sent to sales teams for action.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Associate’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Current CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) and DHC (Door Hardware Consultant) certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Ability to travel up to 50% +.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels.
WHAT WE PREFER
- Bachelor/Technical/Vocational school degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in the door and hardware industry.
- 1+ years architectural sales experience.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Software (CRM) – Salesforce.
- Current AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant) certification and/or member Construction Specification Institute (CSI).
- Prior experience utilizing Sandler sales methodology.
