Role/Responsibility/Performance Requirements for Managers & Directors include:
Manager:
- Leads, owns, & grows a focus area of the Business (for example- Drive Thru, Food Safety, Inventory, Facilities, Hospitality, Financial Return, etc).
- Engage, develop, & coach Team Leaders & potential Leaders to grow their role and increase their leadership capacity.
- Own results, motivate yourself, solve problems, and demonstrate a “make it better” mindset that enables continuous improvement & a commitment to growth.
- Lead, hold accountable, and celebrate with your Team to create exceptional results in Customer ratings, sales, profit, and other business metrics.
- Create & promote a culture of care and mindset of excellence in your team that enables our Team to be the most caring business in our community.
- Effectively communicate clear priorities and guidance as you and your Teammates face numerous competing priorities in a fast paced, challenging, ever-changing environment.
- Display unwavering professionalism with Guests & Teammates as you showcase our business and the Chick-fil-A Brand to hundreds of Guests each day.
- Leads Shifts in Customer Service/Front of House (FOH) or Kitchen/Production/Back of House (BOH) as needed.
Director (in addition to Manager Performance Requirements):
- Leads, owns, & grows a critical area of the Business (for example- Operations, Guest Experience, Kitchen/Production, Talent, Training, Facilities/Inventory Management, etc.).
- Engage, develop, & coach Managers, Team Leaders & potential Leaders to grow their role and increase their leadership capacity.
- Own & protect the Culture of our Team.
Experience Required for Directors: At least 3 years of previous leadership experience is required along with measurable results, a heart for service, and extreme dependability. Previous coaching, customer service, project management, or production experience is preferred. Previous restaurant experience is NOT required.
Salary: $20+/hour for fully qualified leaders ($64K+/year including benefits) after 60-day evaluation period. Qualified Director candidates/trainees may be hired for $18/hour and then promoted after evaluation & training period.
Leaders typically work 40-45 hours per week Mon to Sat, typical shifts are 515am – 2:30pm or 1:45pm – 10:15 pm, and all Leaders typically work 2 or more closing shifts per week.
