As of 2024, we have five Wichita branches and are expanding into the Kansas City Metro area. We are also planning expansions in Oklahoma and Nebraska.

Job Description

General Responsibilities

  1. Handle food and beverage with the knowledge and care to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  2. Utilize in-house standards known to increase customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
    1. Deliver orders to guests and bus tables in a cyclical pattern.
    2. Provide drink refills and table service to prevent interruption of guests’ meals.
    3. Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, restrooms, patio, tables, bar, and expo area.
    4. Deliver and explain the complimentary pita bread to every dine-in guest.
    5. Ensure food meets the taste, temperature, aesthetic, and portion standards of the brand.
    6. Fulfill complete orders for guests in a timely manner.
    7. Perform exemplary customer service at the ordering counter.
    8. Welcome guests and give departing guests a farewell.
  3. Promote a culture of excellence, growth, and candor.
    1. Make exceptions for guests even when it’s difficult.
    2. Hold yourself and coworkers accountable.
  4. Perform cash and credit sales responsibly.
  5. Stay aware of surroundings and keep coworkers safe.
  6. Keep managers informed of any important information.
  7. Fulfill the requirements of your assigned shift position.
  8. If bartending, serve in accordance with Alcoholic Beverage Control Guidelines.

Responsibilities Specific to This Role

  1. Introduce trainees to the team and ensure they have necessary training materials.
  2. Demonstrate and explain proper methods of performing tasks.
  3. Delegate tasks to FOH employees.
  4. Perform closing duties and secure the restaurant after hours.
  5. Monitor hourly labor percentages.
  6. Read reviews and reach out to guests to resolve service disparities.
  7. Prevent misreporting of clock in and out times.
  8. Treat all employees fairly in relation to protected categories.
  9. Ensure the End of Day Deposit is submitted accurately.
  10. Audit credit card bar tips and corresponding receipts.

Qualifications

Minimum

  1. Able to consistently work 50 hours a week.
  2. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
  3. Maintain reliable transportation.
  4. Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  5. Able to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts.
  6. Customer service experience.
  7. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Desired

  1. Leadership and supervisory experience.
  2. Knowledge of Food Safety Laws.
  3. 2 years of customer service experience or more.
  4. Higher education, certifications, or degree.
  5. Aloha POS system experience.
