Production Assembler needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Richmond, CA.

This position is for a molecular diagnostics manufacturer and the team is looking for candidates with a HS diploma with 0-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging mechanical equipment.
• Read and understand technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry. Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience: 0-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, to write, to comprehend, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math, problem solving and computer skills.
• Transaction in SAP experience, a plus.
• Experience operating manual, semi-auto and automatic equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

Contract: 6-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion.

Salary: $20 per hour, W2.
