Position Overview

The customer service specialist is responsible for tasks that the customer can readily see during the Full Service Oil Change, such as vacuuming, cleaning windows, and setting tire pressure. Performing these duties with care and professionalism will create a positive impression with the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work safely and wear safety gear
2. Use Echo System
3. Prepare vehicle for service; place seat cover and floor mat in vehicle
4. Drive vehicle into bay and perform light check
5. Release the hood, unlock doors, roll up windows, remove and secure keys, and notify manager if valuables are found
6. Assist in documenting service information - vehicle damage and unusual conditions
7. Vacuum entire interior, check and set tire pressure, clean exterior windows (including mirrors and headlights in bad weather), and visually inspect wiper blades
8. Prepare/affix static sticker
9. Start vehicle and check oil pressure, reset oil indicator light if applicable
10. Drive vehicle out of the bay to customer pickup area and present vehicle to customer
11. Thank customers for their business and invite them to return

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms. Crew members must attend crew meetings and run errands as required, along with other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

1. Basic literacy (reading, writing, math skills); verbal communication skills
2. Ability and license to operate motor vehicles
3. Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools
4. Attention to detail
5. No previous experience or training required

Working Conditions:

Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift. Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.
