Job Responsibilities:
Lateral Recruiting:
- Partner with Legal Recruiting Senior Manager.
- Data entry, interview scheduling, candidate file maintenance, expense reimbursement, drafting letters, and new hire processes.
Entry-Level Recruiting:
- Support Legal Recruiting team.
- Interview preparation and execution, hiring committee meetings, on-campus event planning and execution, statistical reporting, and interview scheduling.
Summer Program:
- Coordinate with the Legal Recruiting team.
- Ongoing communications, logistical planning, event preparation and execution, training, work assignment tracking.
Interview Coordination:
- Schedule interviews and interview lunches for lateral and summer associate candidates.
- Prepare and distribute interview schedules, meet and greet applicants, and gather interview evaluations.
Database Maintenance:
- Maintain recruiting database (LawCruit).
- Entry of resume data, on-campus interview information, interview schedules, and reporting.
Additional Projects:
- Assigned by the Legal Recruiting team, Director, and various partners and Committee members.
Candidate Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2-3 years of related experience, preferably within a law firm or law school career services environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong computer skills/proficiency in systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Comfort working with databases (knowledge of LawCruit database a plus).
Organizational Skills:
- Superb organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel and a variety of external entities.
Confidentiality:
- Ability to respect, protect, and maintain highly confidential information.
Work Ethic and Flexibility:
- Attention to detail, initiative to own a project.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
- Flexibility to commute between Santa Monica and Los Angeles offices as needed.
- Some travel required (10%).

Target Salary Range: Boston $55,100 - $82,700 | Los Angeles $57,900 - $86,900 | New York $57,900 - $86,900 | Philadelphia $51,800 - $77,800 | San Francisco $61,700 - $92,600 | Santa Monica $57,900 - $86,900 | Silicon Valley $61,700 - $92,600 | Washington DC $55,100 - $82,700.
