GENERAL FUNCTION
The Talent Acquisition Manager - Commercial provides a consultative recruitment approach, driving consistent communication with hiring teams, providing market analysis, executing creative sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and other talent related activities.
Primary responsibilities include managing full-lifecycle recruitment processes and strategies across a designated commercial function, partnering closely with internal clients and external candidate populations. This position will focus on professional, mid-level management, and leadership positions across our territory sales, account management and sales support groups that drive our commercial wholesale business.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, screen, recruit, present high quality, diverse talent to Hiring Managers to fill open vacancies in the allocated business group.
- Build and maintain proactive partnerships with all internal and external client groups to understand business needs, staffing requirements and issues, and offer creative and effective sourcing solutions.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to proactively source diverse pools of candidates using various recruiting methods, including cold-calling, networking/relationship building, web and social based sourcing methods.
- Lead regular recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers & HR and provide consultative approach on talent. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on hiring techniques and legal issues regarding hiring practices.
- Act as liaison between candidates, Hiring Managers and HR business partners and offer guidance through every stage of the hiring process.
- Gather competitive intelligence, industry trends, and labor market conditions and create search strategies and business presentations based on findings.
- Implement and enforce consistency with recruiting policies and procedures.
- Successfully manage and track assigned postings, prioritizing and closing searches against timeline according to established KPIs.
- Partner with other HR Functions to identify and manage internal key talent to increase internal mobility company-wide.
- Generate recruitment reports, candidate trackers and data for each designated recruitment assignment, including regular requisition communications.
- Lead additional special recruitment projects as assigned including mentoring Recruiters or Specialists.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years recruiting experience across either of commercial, corporate, consumer goods businesses with a focus on sales related departments.
- Experience developing recruitment processes and implementing into a business.
- Knowledge and experience in recruitment concepts, practice, and procedures.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, influence, negotiate and partner effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with change management and the ability to be flexible in work style and responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills, the ability to report and understand data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting an international multi-brand consumer, retail, supply chain, consumer, wholesale, medical device business.
- MBA or advanced degree.
Pay Range: 97,129.77 - 148,819.97
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
