Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and enhance production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and/or Solidworks software and other engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
