General Description:
Will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager and will be directed by the head custodian in the performance of duties which relate to maintaining the school buildings at a high level of cleanliness, safety and good repair. In addition to regular cleaning duties will interact with the Custodial Manager, head custodian, building principal, district personnel, community members, students and rental groups, to insure that their needs and requirements are provided for, while promoting good public relations. Promote health and safety practices and procedures consistent with OSHA, PERRA, ORC and OAC.

General Description:

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in general cleaning and building service operations preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize tasks.
- The ability to perform minor repairs, and a willingness to work and cooperate with others.
- Able to lift 55 pounds unassisted.
- Able to operate, a variety of power machinery and/or tools relative to the cleaning of buildings throughout the district.
- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions/policies.
- Able to perform all items as listed in the essential duties.
- Validation of qualifications as determined by an interview.
- Other relevant criteria as determined by the Board of Education, Superintendent and/or designee may find appropriate are acceptable.
- Good health, high moral standards, good attendance, clean and neat apperance.
- Computor knowledge (e-mail: send and receive).
