Associate Attorney - Yarra Rivas & Associates (Fresno) Job at SAN JOAQUIN COLLEG

Yarra Rivas & Associates has an immediate opening for a licensed associate attorney, bilingual in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in Removal/ Deportation Defense, Family, Consular Processing and Asylum. In addition to courtroom experience, excellent writing skills required, as this position includes appellate work. Recent law school grads with a demonstrated interest in immigration law also considered.

Qualifications:

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail
• Experience in legal administrative tasks, such as managing case files and calendars

Preferred Skills:

• Willing to travel to San Francisco and other Immigration courts
