The National Council of Young Men’s Christian Associations of the United States

Develops, organizes, and implements high-quality YMCA program(s). Oversees the overall management and operations of Youth and Adult Sport programming. This position has responsibility for budget development and control, recruitment and training of staff and volunteers, programming, equipment maintenance, quality checks, enforcing safety standards, and other YMCA of Southwest Florida policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 3 – 5 years of department leadership, preferably within the YMCA or other not-for-profit organization.
3. Successfully complete State of Florida Criminal History Background Check requirements as well as meet the Association’s policies on background screening.
4. Adhere to drug/alcohol/smoke-free workplace policy.
5. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
6. Able to research and analyze.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Must be a self-starter, with high energy and a positive attitude.
