Program Assistant - Sports Medicine

Do you enjoy working with college student-athletes? As a Program Assistant, you will assist the UAA Sports Medicine staff with management of the Sports Medicine office and training, and event/game Sports Medicine set-up and break-down.

To thrive in this position, an individual working as a Program Assistant at UAA needs to enjoy the intercollegiate athletics environment and have a passion to serve student-athletes for their health, safety, and wellness.


To be successful in this role, an individual needs to have the ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and exhibit strong organizational skills.


The individual must be able to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school education, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  2. FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) certification, or certification completion within 30 days of the job start date.
  3. UA Safe Title IX certification or certification completion within 30 days of the job start date.

Position Details:

This position is located on the UAA campus in Anchorage. This is a part-time, temporary position, $15.25 per hour.
