Dental One Associates is hiring a full-time Dental Hygienist for our multi-specialty family dental center, located in Baltimore, MD 21210, in the Village of Cross Keys. No nights or weekends!

Dental One Associates is a well-established practice that values our hygienists and the important role they play in our success. We work closely as a team in our state-of-the-art facility, utilizing the latest technologies such as Overjet, CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), to ensure our patients receive superior care while our hygienists have the tools to deliver quality work.
To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will undergo a short training program, allowing them to feel confident and comfortable in their new position. Great for new grads!
Previous experience is a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply. The hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license in the state of Maryland. New hygiene grads must be applying for their license soon.
Our office is located in a thriving area with ongoing redevelopment, featuring newly renovated suites attached to retail stores and restaurants, perfect for lunch breaks. We also provide ample free parking!
Responsibilities
- Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to improve patients' oral health. Candidates must be enthusiastic and committed to providing the highest level of care.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Conduct patient screenings, medical history, and dental charting.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland, required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
