Housekeeping Dispatcher

Job Specific Responsibilities

1. Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner
2. Monitors and responds to dispatch radio
3. Dispatches guest/Telecom/supervisor calls to appropriate parties
4. Maintains, on a daily basis, all Housekeeping logs
5. Maintains sign-in and sign-out sheets
6. Reconciles boards and keys at end of shift
7. Tracks and adjusts time log for payroll
8. Maintains count of daily hours for all Housekeeping personnel
9. Completes attendance report on late or absent employees
10. Continually communicates with Front Office and Floor Managers to verify status of all guest rooms
11. Inputs computer to maintain accurate and up-to-date room status information
12. Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
13. Other duties as assigned

3. Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
4. Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards

6. Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
7. Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
8. Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
9. Recycles whenever possible
10. Remains current with hotel information and changes
11. Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards

The wage for this position is $24.20.
