General Information:

Hitachi Energy is looking for an Electrical Test Engineer supporting the 3rd Shift operations production team, located in Jefferson City, MO. 3rd Shift will be Sunday - Thursday from 11:00pm - 7:00am.

As a Test Electrical Engineer, you will synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system-level evaluations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation, and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
• Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats, and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents, and reports.
• Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions as appropriate.
• Plan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straightforward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries for review.
• Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2 to 5 years of experience
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
