Director of Sales - Pulp & Fiber Products

Location: United States (Remote with Travel)

Compensation: Up to $195,000 Base Salary + Bonus Opportunity

About the Opportunity

An industry-leading manufacturer of pulp and fiber products, with a strong international presence, is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead their growth strategy in the United States. This confidential role offers the opportunity to drive revenue across a diverse customer base, including paper producers, packaging companies, building products manufacturers, and specialty product manufacturers.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share and revenue within the United States.
  2. Identify and nurture relationships with key accounts across the paper, packaging, building products, and specialty manufacturing sectors.
  3. Drive sales growth by targeting new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  4. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product development teams to meet customer needs and achieve company goals.
  6. Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitive activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  7. Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in pulp and fiber products, with a proven track record of success.
  2. Demonstrated ability to grow sales in a multi-state region, with a focus on the target customer base.
  3. Strong knowledge of the pulp and fiber manufacturing landscape and its applications in paper, packaging, construction, and specialty products.
  4. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  6. Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. to meet customer and business needs.
