Job Summary

Crossroads Trading, a popular clothing resale shop with stores throughout the country, is looking for a Floor Supervisor! Are you fashion obsessed and want to learn more about buying, merchandising, customer service, and trend forecasting, all while working with a team of fashion lovers just like you? If so, this may be the job for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Actively participating in staff management and solutions.
2. Training and supervising staff.
3. Assisting Store Manager with store operations.
4. Providing outstanding customer service and problem-solving any issues that arise.
5. Working at the Point of Sale (POS) counter and handling all sales-related tasks, including operating POS software, counting cash, making change, and providing customers trade cards for the clothing they’ve sold.
6. Assisting customers on the sales floor, in the dressing room, at the register, and buy counter.
7. Processing merchandise so it is ready for the sales floor.
8. Helping merchandise the store by creating window and interior displays.
9. Keeping the store clean and presentable.
10. Assisting with store security, which includes checking bags and monitoring the dressing rooms and other parts of the store.
11. Being a role model and leading by example.

Qualifications:

Needs:

1. Minimum 6 months supervisory experience in the retail industry.
2. Extraordinary people and customer service skills.
3. Open availability, including weekends.
4. Desire to grow within the fashion retail industry.
5. Mastery of sales floor support and ability to assist with store aesthetics.
6. Experience with store open/close process, employee training, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Wants:

1. Luxury/Designer retail experience.
2. Fashion degree and/or certificate.
3. Ability to authenticate merchandise.
4. Extensive fashion knowledge including familiarity with labels, brands, designers, and current trends.
5. Similar industry experience (buy-sell-trade- and/or consignment experience a HUGE PLUS).
