Brief DescriptionThe Director of International Market Development is responsible for leading the international market development, sales enablement, and strategic operations team to identify expansion opportunities, analyze market data, and develop and deploy strategic plans aligned with our business objectives. This individual will ensure effective communication and key stakeholder alignment. They will also be responsible for capturing voice of customer, customer needs, and prioritize them for key decision-making to enable growth.This individual will have a high level of visibility to staff, leadership, and members, and will lead and participate in cross functional leadership team meetings, CAP committees, and employee task forces to help identify and implement strategic IMD opportunities. He/she will collaborate on a regular basis with constituents, customers and staff and various reporting units at all levels of the CAP.Specific DutiesPrimary duties and responsibilities:•    Lead the development and implementation of industry leading business and marketing programs that support the overall international business strategy and drive awareness, new customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue growth above targets. This includes working with key partners such as product development, product management, Communications, eBusiness, and other commercial colleagues to develop and deploy compelling strategies.•    Develop clear segmentation models for customers, channels, and markets.•    Lead team to compile competitive intelligence to build compelling value propositions.•    Target, develop and maintain KOLs and strategic partnerships to deliver business value through collaborative agreements.•    Bring deep expertise in the target markets to advise on strategy and initiatives. •    Collaborate with all cross functional partners to provide comprehensive solutions.•    Define and implement successful commercialization strategies and models enabling new product introduction and adoption to achieve and exceed revenue targets.•    Create, communicate, and implement long-term brand strategy and objectives to reinforce and expand brand loyalty.•    Develop and manage organizational budget and track organizational expenses to budget is achieved. •    Track and analyze program performance measurement including ROI.•    Research and keep current on market intelligence (segments, customer pain points, competitive landscape, and industry trends)•    Manage strategic brand messaging and branding activities aimed at key laboratory segments•    Develop and Deploy strategies that are in alignment with customer research (Net Promoter Score, Value & Needs Segmentation, etc.).Leadership Responsibilities•    Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement IMD Business Operations strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.•    Process Improvement: Lead an IMD scalable, repeatable, standard processes driving customer satisfaction, and high service level.•    Strategic Transformation: Drive IMD transformation initiatives across regions and teams with strong project & organizational change management.•    Compliance: Ensure uses analytical tools to analyze relatively large set of quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.•    Governance & Decision Making: Define and implement governance structures and mechanisms to ensure effective decision-making and accountability.•    Customer Focus: Develop and implement end to end service support processes and align resource allocation to enhance customer experience and efficiency.•    Partner Management: Develop and execute a Distributor and Partner Strategy. •    Strategic Planning: Lead in the Strategic Long-Range Planning (STRAP) and prioritization process.•    Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to scale influence and collaborate across the organization at all levels and drive all cross functional partners to provide comprehensive solutions.•    Execution: Lead the implementation of successful commercialization strategies and models enabling new product introduction and adoption to achieve and exceed revenue targets.•    Event Planning: Provide staffing support to CAP events, including exhibits, meeting support and other events/activities as requested.•    Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams through clear goals, role clarity, effective communication, collaboration, continuous learning, etc. to enable increased productivity and innovation.Knowledge/Skills Required/PreferredPersonal:•    Highly developed analytical, interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking•    Effective interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence•    Positive and proactive attitude•    Focus on members, customers, and staff commitment to service.•    Ability to work well in a Team and Matrix environment.•    Strong written and verbal communication skills•    Self-motivated, ability to make sound decisions, accountable. Professional:•    5+ of Global and/or international commercial experience.•    Proven track record as a team leader•    Balance of strategic vision and tactical execution•    Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines•    Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills•    Proven experience with change management and organizational transformation•    Drive for Results-oriented and accountable•    Customer and member focused.•    Financial and Business Acumen, Strategic Planning, Technical•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office•    Qualitative and Quantitative Market Research/AnalysisEducation/ExperienceEducation•    Bachelors, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in life science, engineering or marketing, and a minimum of 5 years relevant marketing, life science, healthcare, or IVD experience. •    MBA or other advanced degree preferredExperience•    5+ years in progressively complex, results oriented marketing business development, or product management.•    Demonstrated global leadership experienceAdditional CriteriaUp to 25% global travel required including some weekend travelSalary Range: $154,530 - $210,000JobFamilyDirectorsJobFunctionDirectorPayTypeSalaryTravelPercentage25
