The company is a global specialist in the design, production, and decoration of glass packaging, providing functional, aesthetic, and sustainable glass packaging solutions for their customers in the Cosmetics & Perfumery, Food & Specialty Liquor, and pharmaceuticals industries.

They have their design, production, and decoration footprint in Asia, with an overall capacity of 1,600 tons per day, delivered by 11 furnaces and 64 production lines. They have a global presence, with offices and warehousing facilities on several continents, and serve customers in over 50 countries around the world.

This position is primarily responsible for growing sales in the Alcoholic Beverages (Spirits) market through direct sales, distributors and other channel partners, focusing on the Eastern part of the USA where there is still quite a bit of potential for growth for their product line.

The role is one primarily of business development, which includes both direct and indirect sales depending on customer size and potential. The technical aspect of the products and their high-end positioning requires sophisticated customer service, which is supported by an entire dedicated team.
Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Many years of successful experience in Sales & Business Development / Product Development in the packaging industry, primarily in "hunter" roles (acquisition of new clients).
  • Must come from direct competition.
  • Solid knowledge of the overall glass packaging markets in the target industries, including distributors, end users, and other channels.
  • Accustomed to working in environments using systems such as Salesforce, SAP Hana, and Microsoft Office.


Salary: $100k-$200k incentive bonus and car allowance
