The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing the entire grants process, from identifying funding opportunities to preparing and submitting grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Grants Manager to join our team. The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing the entire grants process, from identifying funding opportunities to preparing and submitting grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. This role is crucial in securing the necessary funding to support our programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Manage the grant submission process, including coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Monitor and track the status of submitted grants, and follow up as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including reporting and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all grant activities, including proposals, awards, and reports.
- Collaborate with program staff to develop project budgets and ensure alignment with grant requirements.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on grant activities and outcomes.
- Actively engage with funders through personalized interactions, ensuring they feel valued and informed. This involves regular updates, thank-you notes, and invitations to Club and fundraising events.
- Gather feedback from funders and provide comprehensive reports on the progress and outcomes of funded events and projects i.e. impact reports.
- Assist with grants brand and marketing deliverables such as social media and website posts.
- Assist with other fundraising activities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing and management, with a proven track record of securing grants.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in using grant management software and databases.
