KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

KBR is seeking a Mission Integration Specialist to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. As a Mission Integration Specialist, you will leverage your experience with Space Systems Command and the DoD acquisition system to directly assist the SML, ML, and IPTs leads coordinating between Space, Ground, and Crypto to achieve timely development, integration and tests.

This position requires a Secret clearance and offers a hybrid schedule in El Segundo, CA.

Required Skills and Experience:

An active Secret clearance

Bachelor’s Degree

15+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, program management, and business operations

Acquisition Strategy development for major ACAT programs

Source Selections / Technical Evaluations / Sole Source Procurement

Experience with acquisition support to DoD milestones and decision events

SAE/DAE briefing development

System Integration

Experience with analyzing and tailoring statutory and regulatory policies to ensure compliance

Middle-Tier Acquisition / Other Transactional Authority

Desired Skills and Experience:

Agile methodology

C4ISR systems

Ground Systems

Master’s degree

Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level III or higher

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation: $84,600 to $193,000. This range is for the California area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
