Overnight Guest Service Agent- Part-Time

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is currently looking for a Part-Time Overnight Guest Service Agent.

Basic Purpose:

Welcome and register hotel guests explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Check guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs, adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while conforming with all Four Seasons’ policies. Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Guest Service Attendant duties.

Essential functions of the job:

• Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible.
• Assure that guests are assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
• Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest rooms and issue correct keys to the guests.
• Check out guests at the end of their stay and ascertain guest satisfaction.
• Collect keys, post late charges, and present bills upon check out.
• Settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions.
• Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel.
• Email guests regarding any late charges processed to their account after their check-out (when proper email is available).
• Make change, cash checks, and exchange foreign currency.
• Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift and cash out.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

Knowledge and Skills:

• High School Degree preferred.
• 2 Years in a front desk role or 2 years’ luxury customer service experience necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
