Practice Overview

Our client owns an AAHA-accredited, 24-hour practice serving the community for over 60 years. They are proud of their commitment to providing the highest quality of care, and you will play a key role in building upon the established legacy. With a team of fifteen doctors on staff, including two boarded specialists, they are fully prepared for every case that walks through the door. They offer CT, ultrasound, ICU, endoscopy, oxygen cages, digital rads, and an in-house lab. Our client is proud to provide an environment where the Associates are given autonomy in their role and the resources necessary to perform at their best each day. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Practice as an emergency veterinarian
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform emergency surgeries with the opportunity for mentorship
  • Collaborate with Specialists and involve them in the care of patients
  • Communicate effectively with referring veterinarians and complete medical records
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
  • Promote a positive work environment and teamwork with all team members
  • Mentorship is in our DNA → Identify opportunities to teach and mentor those around you
  • Effectively lead support staff so that client and patient care is the best in the industry

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program is required
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio
  • New Graduates are Welcome to Apply. We love to mentor!
  • Ability and/or Interest to perform soft tissue surgery
  • Demonstrated compassion for both patients and clients
  • Ability to adapt swiftly when presented with emergent cases
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
