Job Description
As a Payments Product Owner/ Coordinator work with stakeholders to enact change to directly reduce costs and optimize payment processes. Act on identified gaps in how payments data is captured at the point of sale and flows through to processors and card brands. Track market trends, card network programs, and activities in the acquiring space to formulate and deliver process improvements that drive results for cost management and performance including updates from vendors, schemes, industry best practices and technology updates.
Responsibilities:
Utilize data outputs to identify optimization opportunities that reduce card processing fees from interchange, assessments, dues, and acquiring fees.
Identify and automate inefficient operational processes to reduce manual workloads, increase transparency, and reduce costs.
Create action/project plans to deliver change. Document best practices and other process documentation.
Assist in defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards to align with business objectives.
Monitor Payments KPI trends and abnormalities to triage and identify impacting factors and communicate findings to internal teams and stakeholders and drive issues to resolution.
Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues, improve payment performance, and implement new features.
Ability to write business requirements to clearly define capabilities to be delivered.
Understand business needs to manage and own technical solutions and new Payment products.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience working in the payments industry (including payment processing, credit card interchange and scheme fees)
Strong analytical skills to investigate, prioritize, and identify the root cause of issues.
Experience with Project Coordination/Management - creating action plans to deliver change Vendor Management Experience null
