We are looking for a motivated Structural Engineer, who is a forward thinker, proactive communicator and a bridge design expert, to join our team in our East Peoria, IL office. What you’ll do:
You will provide bridge inspection and design services, while actively developing and growing the structural engineering team. You should be familiar with structural components such as bridges, retaining walls, and Department of Transportation design standards. We promote a team environment, so you’ll work with fellow engineers, environmental scientists, and many more. Leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.

What it takes:
A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. You should have seven to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You must be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, or demonstrate the ability to secure those licensures. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and code requirements is necessary, along with the ability to develop design and construction plans and use structural engineering software. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, and you must be a team player.
