Civil Engineer (Entry - Level)

We are actively seeking a Civil Staff Engineer I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Lehigh Valley, PA. As a Civil Staff Engineer I, key responsibilities include:

• Designing portions of public infrastructure projects (pavement, storm sewer systems, ESC & SWM BMPs, etc.)
• Performing municipal subdivision, land development, and stormwater management plan reviews
• Preparing drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvals
• Developing regulatory permitting applications (DEP, USACE, NPDES, etc.)
• Assisting with developing public bidding documents and administering construction contracts
• Performing construction observation
• Preparing opinions of probable construction cost
• Assisting with preparation of MS4 annual reports

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• E.I.T. certification preferred
• Course work and/or 0 to 2 years’ experience to include:
• Subdivision
• Land Development
• Municipal Engineering
• Storm Water Management
• Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• Team player possessing strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices
• Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
