What We Need: Brady Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team. Our team is responsible for design, build, and support of data pipelines from multiple applications and sources to facilitate data analytics needs. We partner with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Operations business users and data scientists to help develop data driven insights and make data-driven decisions. The data analyst will have the opportunity to work with various data tools and technologies, such as Google Big Query, SQL Server, Qlikview, PowerBI etc. The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, and a business-focused problem solver who is passionate about working with data and building data analytical solutions that address business needs. What You'll Be Doing: Work with Sales & Marketing, Finance team and business users to understand data requirements. Translate high level business requirements into detailed data requirements, data warehouse targets and technical specifications Understand the relationship of the data in the source systems, such as SalesForce, Google Analytics, etc. Map the source data to data warehouse objects. Track data end-to-end from the source system, through multiple data transformations and to the reporting measures Performs data validation and functional testing using SQL. Perform data analysis, answer data questions. Coordinate user acceptance testing and feedback sessions, document enhancement requirements. Support production data issues and concerns Understand data warehouse concepts, dimensional data models, and architectures. Work collaboratively within an Agile team to meet delivery commitments What You Will Need To Be Successful: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field 5+ years experience as a data analyst or business analyst developing reporting or data analytics solutions Strong SQL and analytical skills Experience and proficiency in data technologies and Preference for the following: Database Platform: SQL Server, Google BigQuery, Amazon RedShift, or Oracle Reporting Tool: Qlikview, PowerBI or Tableau SAP About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
