We are seeking a skilled and proactive Warehouse Production Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all production machinery and equipment within our warehouse operates efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing warehouse production equipment.

This position is based at a site regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), which requires adherence to strict federal guidelines and regulations to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Rotating Schedule: 6 days on, 2 days off

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with production machines and systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, reducing production downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to address operational inefficiencies and machine performance concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and routine checks.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacements for critical machinery components.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures while working with heavy machinery and tools.
• Assist in installing, testing, and calibrating new equipment as required.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining warehouse production machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards for warehouse and production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy machinery components, up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
• Working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
