We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler responsible for verifying orders pulled and packaging of orders. This role involves the use of company tablets/computers for verifying orders and creating labels, as well as utilizing banding equipment and basic hand tools. The position requires experience in order pulling as candidates will eventually be trained in this area. The material handling involves metal tubing, bars, and panels used in the aerospace industry, ranging in size from 2 feet to 12 feet.
Responsibilities- Verify orders pulled and package orders accurately.
- Utilize company tablets/computers for order verification and label creation.
- Operate banding equipment and basic hand tools.
- Handle materials such as metal tubing, bars, and panels ranging from 2 feet to 12 feet in size.
- Train in order pulling processes.
- Experience in inventory management and order picking/packing.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Ability to utilize a tape measure.
- Basic math knowledge.
- Commitment to working independently.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Capability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, with or without corrected vision.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a warehouse/manufacturing environment where you will handle various materials and utilize different tools and equipment. The role involves physical activity including lifting, standing, and moving heavy items, ensuring a dynamic and active workday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
