Our client WASHINGTON PAVILION , a private 501©3 not-for-profit organization located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota , has a career opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on individual as their ACCOUNTING MANAGER. This position is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day accounting and financial life of the organization while working proactively to anticipate the plan for the future. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in financial planning, budget management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition they will lead and manage a team of payroll, accounting and finance professionals. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on accounting/finance experience and two (2) years managing a team. Prior expertise developing or updating accounting process to create efficiencies is imperative. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple high level projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and computer skills are essential to this position. Someone who is approachable and able to interact with senior leadership will be successful in this role.
