Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Philadelphia, PA

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: 5x8 Hour Days (7:00 AM3:30 PM), 40 Hours/Week
Contract Length: Open

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging, and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program (Required)

• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
• Supervisory experience (Preferred)
• Certifications:
• NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) Certification (Required) OR
• RT(R)(N) - Registered Technologist in Radiography and Nuclear Medicine (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Preferred)
