Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,176 per week in Everett, WA

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM Must-Have: Inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting experience required. Sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub experience required. Experience in various surgical cases such as Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, and Implants. Ophthalmology experience preferred. Description: The primary shift will be from 06:00 to 14:30 with the possibility of weekend work. A supervisor will provide a monthly calendar. Techs handle a daily caseload of approximately 65 surgical cases and 1200 tray volumes. Weekend work is required. On-call duty is required twice a month, rotating weekends. Experience with SPM and Epic charting is required. Flexible with not accommodating block schedules; considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates should be prepared to float between various like units as required. Orientation consists of 40 hours. All travelers are expected to float regularly within the hospital within their skill set. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent.
