YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources Ontario Region, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will be responsible for delivering tactical services to support the day-to-day and long-term vision of the business within the Ontario Region. You will ensure compliance with all HR-related regulations and requirements and collaborate as a member of the Ontario Region HR Leadership Team to execute the strategic HR agenda. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Acting as a key HR Leader and providing direct support to operations and site HR leadership;
  • Leading region-wide HR programs and requirements, including year-end and annual compensation programs, employee rewards, policy development, legal compliance and major investigations;
  • Overseeing HR reporting/KPIs and HR systems implementation and administration;
  • Providing input into the short and long-term HR plans and implementing solutions to drive HR efficiencies and value;
  • Creating effective business cases and overall lead of HR-related projects for the Ontario Region.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study;
  • Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL) or Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation;
  • 10 years' experience in a Senior Human Resources role in a fully integrated human resources/business capacity;
  • 5 years' experience within the mining industry;
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural work environment;
  • Knowledge of the SuccessFactors Human Capital Management suite preferre;.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.


Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
