Nature of Work:

Leading the sales team in the achievement of revenue goals. Recruiting, and coaching salespeople. Provide accurate forecasting and goal setting that provides revenue generation for our multiple radio stations, and a strategic direction with a clear execution plan. Provide strong leadership and communication skills.

Examples of work performed:
• Must communicate effectively with SVP/General Manager on all sales activities.
• Drive the cluster's revenue and achieve revenue goals.
• Develop and grow cluster's digital sales
• Manage inventory and set pricing to meet and exceed revenue budget goals.
• Create spot demand by developing and selling nontraditional and sponsorship opportunities.
• Analyze market and industry trends utilizing software like Nielsen, Xray, and Miller Kaplan.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise the sales team.
• Work across departments to proactively support endeavors that maximize ratings and revenue.
• Provide top level management with an accurate picture of revenue conditions at all times.
• Ability to travel on a regular basis and attend sales related functions after business hours.
• Must have a solid understanding and track record of sales in the Sports and Music industries.

Qualifications:
• Minimum

o Bachelor's degree with five or more years of sales management as a Director of Sales or GSM with a proven history of achieving budgets.

o Tactical thinking, strong analytical skills, leadership, and budgeting skills.

o Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize goals for the department and cluster.

o Must be able to manage a large staff with various skill sets, working to build consensus.

o Must be proficient in working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

o Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at time of hire.
• Preferred

o Experience with Wide Orbit preferred.

Compensation:
• Base salary ranges $150,000-$180,000 per annum.
• Eligible for annual revenue bonus.
