Eye Specialists & Surgeons of Northern Virginia is a well-established, private MD/OD practice with locations in Fairfax and Gainesville, VA including an IOR in our Fairfax office. Our talented and award-winning team of seven Ophthalmologists and two Optometrists offers an extensive array of services to patients in Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William Counties, and the surrounding region. We are committed to providing outstanding service to our patients. Our providers are supported by a dedicated team of support staff and the best in diagnostic equipment. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated optometrist to join our team. The optometrist will conduct ocular health examinations, both routine and medical based, as well as provide post-operative care for patients recovering from ocular surgery. In addition, our optometrists fit soft lenses, rigid lenses and scleral lenses in order to help patients reach their visual potential. Our ODs play a key role collaborating with our ophthalmologists on a groundbreaking procedure involving Light Adjustable Lenses (LALs). This is a unique type of intraocular lens used in cataract surgery that can be precisely adjusted after implantation to meet each patient's specific visual needs. After surgery, our ODs will work closely with patients to fine-tune the lens power using UV light patterns, helping ensure optimal visual outcomes. We are committed to providing comprehensive training to equip our ODs with the skills necessary for this innovative procedure.
