We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team and help us continue to revolutionize the public transportation and smart cities sectors. You will lead all sales and business development in assigned regions. You will also help with project deployment and be the primary point of contact for deployments during pilots projects. A successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial in nature and be able to manage the full life cycle of a project from initial sales outreach to installation of BusPas products and on going client relationships.

This position is based at our headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, or the west coast of the United States, with a preference of California with the expectation of occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface to assigned customer accounts, representing the company with integrity and professionalism.
- Conduct sales calls to both transit authorities and other potential channel partners
- Lead preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposal from Customers, by interacting with other departments in the organization (Engineering, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain).
- Lead new business development calls to continually grow market share.
- Assures current and potential customers by knowing who we are and what we can do to provide product solutions for their applications. Present our capabilities and product solutions for customer-specific applications.
- Ability to make sales contacts, produce market expansion, margin growth and business development in stated markets.
- Develops and implements innovative market strategies.
- Provide validation of the solutions, costs, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments within target markets.
- Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
- Analyze, assess, and report to leadership monthly orders/sales.
- Maintain a funnel pipeline of upcoming deals to be reviewed monthly with leadership.
- Due Diligence and Problem Solving: Assist leads in their due diligence process by providing accurate and comprehensive information. Actively work to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise, leveraging internal resources as needed.
- Documentation and CRM Management: Accurately document all interactions and communications with potential clients in the company's CRM system. Ensure that the status of each lead is up-to-date, and that any critical information is readily accessible to the sales team.
- Market Feedback: Collect and relay feedback from potential clients to the sales team to help refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations and product teams to ensure a unified approach to client management and to share insights that may assist in achieving overall sales targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience with B2G sales, especially public transportation agencies
- 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management, preferably in a B2B or B2G environment.
- Bilingual Preferred (English and French): verbal and written
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
