Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Dallas, Texas (Plant Located in Waxahachie, TX)
Compensation: $200,000 to $225,000 plus bonus
Position Overview:
Our client, a high-growth fabrication company, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and drive strategic growth. This role involves comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as managing a team of finance professionals. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership and the private equity team to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance.
- Develop and implement financial tracking systems for revenue and expenses.
- Manage the organization's investment portfolio and capital expenditures.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee the administration of financial software and systems.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure comprehensive insurance coverage and compliance.
- Conduct financial reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial statements, budget performance reports, and other financial documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO/President or other executives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of senior financial management experience, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. Prior experience working with a private equity-backed environment is required.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
