Position Summary:
The Vice President of Human Resources (HR) provides executive leadership, strategic options and guidance pertaining to all HR operations in the company. The Vice President is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant Human Resources policies, procedures, and best practices. In this role you will also identify and implement long-range strategic talent management and succession planning goals. The position oversees all aspects of Human Resources to include compensation, recruiting, benefits, employee relations, leadership development, performance management, and the company wellness incentives along with special company events.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provides the HR team with guidance, leadership and support.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains department-level personnel.
- Sets individual and department goals and priorities and oversees the workflow and completion of the department projects.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Oversees all disciplinary action and terminations in accordance with company policy.
- Works closely on the daily decisions and events impacting employees and the Company.
- Designs and manages programs, events and training programs that support in growing employees, developing strong leaders, enhancing work life for employees and adds to morale and tenure.
- Continue to take a strategic and innovative approach to all human resource functions.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term strategic plans and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through human resource functions.
- Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs. Prepares marketing data on compensation for the Board of Directors.
- Maintain a current and robust recruiting strategy.
- Oversees leadership development efforts including but not limited to maintaining/enhancing 360 review process, individual coaching, internal group leadership training complemented with use of external leadership programs as appropriate.
- Provides daily guidance and leadership to the human resources team regarding resolution of human resource related situations, compensation/benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
- Continue to enhance and evolve internship and other programs that attract talent.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
- Prepare and manage department budgets.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the President.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
