Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and developing consumer business for the company's brands, with a focus on driving sales growth and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will manage all aspects of the sales process, from identifying leads through marketing programs to handling product installation and post-sales support. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key business functions, including sales presentations, training, CRM management, and cross-departmental collaboration while growing and maintaining market share.

What you'll do:
- Business Development & Lead Generation: Initiate and develop consumer business for the company's brands by identifying leads through targeted marketing programs and strategies. Grow business by targeting undeveloped territories.
- Sales Conversion: Present sales materials to consumers to convert leads into sales and follow company procedures to ensure all necessary deposits and sales forms are collected.
- Installation Management: Oversee the installation process by identifying and coordinating contractors or employees responsible for product installation, ensuring a timely and quality install.
- Sales Presentations & Training Materials: Develop compelling sales presentations and training materials that support the sales process and enhance the customer experience.
- Quote to Cash Process: Organize and assist with all aspects of the quote to cash process, including managing a CRM, obtaining customer reviews and referrals, pricing, warranties, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers.
- Training & Development: Stay current with industry training trends, developments, and best practices. Maintain and update internal training materials to ensure high standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise in-home sales representatives and other department employees. Provide guidance to ensure performance standards are achieved.
- Product Management: Identify and manage storage locations for company products.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Assist with market and competition assessments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in business strategy.
- Gross Profit Management: Be responsible for managing gross profit by monitoring costs associated with sales and installation, ensuring profitability goals are met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to align efforts and optimize business performance.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support company objectives.
What We need:
Education/experience:
- Experience: At least 5+ years of sales experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree - Business, Sales, or Related
