Job Summary:

Responsible for tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses and monitoring KPIs. Analyze financial and customer information, research the consumer market and evaluate the cost of running a business versus the profit. Measure the efficiency of systems and procedures. Build processes based on our business goals. Manages a large team of experienced professionals with a focus on policy and strategy implementation, as well as implementing short-term operational plans.

Your Role:
  • Reports to the VP/GM of business's Kitting division
  • Leads a small global team that drives a culture of continuous improvement
  • Responsibility for developing and implementing the Continuous Improvement operating model, to include a Lean Management system
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and drive business growth through best practices and process improvements across individual sites and global network
  • Develop playbooks, tools, and measurement systems for process optimization
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams and extensive change management efforts
  • Conduct training on continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen
  • Drive an action-biased culture focused on operational excellence to improve business and functional KPIs aligned to businesses goals


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures, Work Standards, 5S implementation, Visual Management, and Structured Problem-Solving tools
  • Evaluate and improve internal and external processes, identifying manufacturing KPIs, Kaizen activities, and cost-savings measures
  • Analyze business processes to identify areas of waste or inefficiency
  • Manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to drive process improvement
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and site leaders to develop and execute improvement strategies, including change management activities
  • Identify and implement manual process improvement opportunities that can be automated for optimization, defect reduction, and enhanced employee experience
  • Support Quality & Continuous Improvement functional teams in ensuring quality, waste elimination, and value creation


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of operations and/or continuous improvement experience in an operations and/or manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years of experience leading teams, ideally leading Lean transformation and the implementation of Lean tools globally
  • Experience and "hands on" track record of implementing success lean based systems, such as but not limited to:
  • Lean Management Systems (Tiered Accountability, Visual Management, Gemba Walks
  • 5S's
  • A3 Problem Solving
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Kaizen events
  • Implementation of KPI Management across functions or business
  • Certified Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Strong data analysis skills and good understanding of ERP systems, ideally with direct SAP experience
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and passionate to continuously learn and grow with a dynamic team
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance
  • A holistic thinker who can look enterprise-wide to integrate and streamline systems for optimal benefit
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Med-Tech or Healthcare experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
