JOB SUMMARY
Assist the treasury supervisor / manager in the managing, analyzing, execution and reporting of various financial risks including liquidity, debt compliance, foreign exchange, interest rate, investments and any other liquid assets of Seaboard Corporation's consolidated entities. Lead projects as assigned by the market risk supervisor / manager.

Assist the treasury supervisor / manager in the managing, analyzing, execution and reporting of various financial risks including liquidity, debt compliance, foreign exchange, interest rate, investments and any other liquid assets of Seaboard Corporation's consolidated entities. Lead projects as assigned by the market risk supervisor / manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DEBT
- Assists in overseeing, recommending and implementing improvements to daily, monthly and yearly debt position activities
- Supports and educates companywide personnel in debt related activities
- Assists in educating and training treasury analysts on debt related concepts and activities
- Develops and maintains procedures
- Performs backup functions, whenever needed
- Assists in ensuring accuracy and reliance of companywide debt facility records in treasury various systems
- Assists in the analysis of various lending alternatives and works with executive team to recommend optimal liquidity structures
- Prepares quarterly reports and provides support to other groups, as needed
- Prepares debt compliance process and calculations
- Assists in debt related projects assigned by the treasury supervisor / manager
FORECASTING
- Assists in overseeing, recommending, and implementing improvements to daily, monthly and yearly forecast position activities
- Supports and educates companywide personnel on forecast related activities
- Assists in educating and training treasury analysts on forecast related concepts and activities
- Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures
- Performs backup functions as needed
- Assists and reviews weekly forecast and other liquidity projection models and reports
- Assists in forecast analysis
- Assists in forecast related projects assigned by the treasury supervisor / manager
INVESTMENTS
- Assists in overseeing, recommending and implementing improvements to daily, monthly and yearly investment position activities
- Supports and educates companywide personnel in investment related activities
- Assists in educating and training treasury analysts on investment related concepts and activities
- Develops and maintains procedures
- Performs backup functions for investment position, whenever needed
- Assists in the evaluation of investment managers' performance
- Prepares reports for various stakeholders including, accounting, executive team, investment committee, and board of directors
- Assists in investment analysis
- Assists in the execution of the investment committee strategy pursuant to the investment policy
- Assists in investment related projects assigned by the treasury supervisor / manager
DERIVATIVES
- Administers CFTC requirements, brokerage accounts and facilities required to execute derivative transactions including foreign exchange, interest rate swaps and commodities
- Assists in educating and training treasury analysts on derivative related concepts and activities
- Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures for derivatives
- Assists in the identification of derivative hedging opportunities
- Assists in the analysis of hedging alternatives and current positions
- Develops and maintains dashboards and accounting reports
- Assists derivative related projects assigned by the treasury supervisor / manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or related field required
- Masters level degree in related field preferred
- CFA level certification or some level of completion preferred
- Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, MS Excel, Excel VBA and Power BI strongly preferred
